As the growth of NHS investment inevitably becomes limited, senior managers will be under constant pressure to identify new ways of delivering improvements in healthcare delivery.
Innovations through the adoption of medical technologies provide great promise in delivering improved patient outcomes and system efficiency.
Embracing healthcare technology and innovation is organised by the SDO Network and the NHS Technology Adoption Centre and will raise awareness of the most effective ways of adopting new technologies and innovative services and overcoming barriers and challenges arising in the process.

About the conference
Lord Darzi’s recent report ‘High Quality Care for All’ sets a challenging agenda that requires NHS managers to embrace new innovations and technologies in order to deliver the best care for their patients. Failure to understand innovation and technology in healthcare could jeopardize future improvements in NHS services.
This event aim to raise awareness amongst senior managers of the most effective ways of adopting new technologies and innovative services to overcome barriers and challenges faced in the process. Keynote speakers will share evidence based management practice from real world experiences and the latest research knowledge in this area.
